Old National Bank has an opening for a Consumer Loan Processor – Real Estate Services Group in Evansville, IN or Gurnee, IL. This position is responsible for accurately reviewing consumer loan closing applications and ensure timely and accurate processing as well as compliance with all product requirements. The specialist will review consumer loan applications and supporting documents and maintain a pipeline to track and verify that all Real Estate loan due diligence requirements are fulfilled, and reviewed prior to final Underwriting review and closing document request.
Qualifications:
+ Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equal work experience.
+ Previous lending experience, preferably in the consumer loan area.
+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
+ Must be able to work independently but also within the team to meet deadlines.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills required.
+ Basic computer knowledge is essential. Knowledge of online applications. LoansPQ, and COLA software preferred.
Essential Duties:
+ Process consumer loan requests received from originators throughout the ONB footprint.
+ Manage a pipeline of incoming applications to ensure adherence to timing & closing expectations.
+ Utilize special loan software to review completed loan applications for accuracy and compliance.
+ Work in multiple bank systems to gather needed information to complete request and resolve issues.
+ Communicate with the multiple bank departments (Consumer Lenders, Underwriting, Doc Prep, Legal, IT), for support when needed.
+ Review supporting documents critical to the loan request.
+ Ensure loan closing request generated meet all regulatory, compliance requirements and policy guidelines.
+ Perform a review of appraisal, title, insurance, and other critical items to ensure accuracy prior to release for closing document request.
+ Work with title and flood determination vendors to resolve outstanding items.
+ Deliver exceptional customer service to Old National’s internal and external customers.
