Job Description
We are looking for a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for Hospice Admissions RN position in the home health setting. The Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse will work 3×12-hour shifts per week from 10am-10:30pm. The pay and benefits are generous for this Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse position. It is preferred that the Hospice Admissions RN have Hospice experience, however we will consider Registered Nurses who have at least 1 year of experience with adult or geriatric medical/surgical patients or Labor and Delivery. The Registered Nurse would be doing Start of Cares ONLY. These hospice admissions are done in the home setting. The Hospice Admissions nurse will only be doing admissions therefore this is not a Hospice Case Manager position, however those with Hospice Case Manager experience are welcome to apply. This Hospice Registered Nurse position is with a home health and hospice company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. REQUIREMENTS OF THE HOSPICE ADMISSIONS REGISTERED NURSE POSITION: It is preferred that the Hospice Admissions RN have Hospice experience, however we will consider Registered Nurse who have at least 1 year of recent experience working in labor and delivery, or with adult and geriatric medical / surgical patients in any of the following settings: Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. The RN must also have a current CPR certification, valid Driver’s license, and valid auto insurance. The registered nurse must be a registered nurse (RN). The registered nurse must be licensed in the state. The Registered Nurse must either be a US Citizen or have your green card. This company requires a COVID-19 vaccine.
