This position in Sargent & Lundy’s Consulting group will require you to focus on our resource planning projects and associated production cost modeling activities, such as the following:

+ Input data gathering for the models

+ Review existing and planned generators cost and performance parameters

+ Review and incorporate load forecasts

+ Review applicable energy and fuel contracts

+ Review RTO/ISO interconnection queue data

+ Evaluate applicable transmission network characteristics

+ Model development and benchmarking:

+ Develop and run production cost models in PLEXOS or PROMOD

+ Verify model outputs against historical system data
