Job Description

Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank is a division within the Wealth Management Group that exclusively services a limited number of UHNW clients with net worth more than $75MM. The National team is seeking an Associate, Finance and Investment Reporting Analyst with a background in the field of investments, corporate finance, and / or accounting. The Associate is expected to be detail oriented, have a history of quantified achievements, and possess an intrinsic desire to succeed and grow within a high performing team. At the direction of and under the supervision of the Managing Director of CFO Services, key job functions will include maintaining management and operations reporting in Tableau, administration of quarterly client invoices, support the use and development of Addepar, and manage the Chrome River application that provides invoice management for the Ascent Bill Pay service.

Qualifications

+ 3+ years’ experience in a financial or investment reporting/analysist role within a wealth management/financial planning firm, public accounting firm, corporate finance, bank or other relevant experience.

+ 3+ years’ experience designing, developing, testing and deploying Tableau Dashboards and Power BI dashboard solutions

+ Experience with advance Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.

+ Experience in recommending visualization solutions

+ Hands on experience querying MS-SQL 2008 databases

+ Must have exceptional Microsoft Office skills such as Excel or equivalent. Aptitude for management of large data sets and financial data analysis is important.

+ Must have a keen attention to detail and be able to communicate clearly in spoken and written word.

+ Willingness to proactively help the team and be responsible for specific recurring activities and responsibilities.

+ Demonstrated leadership skills, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

+ A desire to develop stronger investment and financial reporting knowledge, and meaningfully contribute to business success.

+ Will have an “all hands-on deck” and a “can do” attitude.

+ Bachelors’ degree required, possession of or progress towards an Advance degree such as MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus.

Additional Support Functions

+ Ability to independently create, analyze and review financial documents, including financial statements, transaction accounting for cash flow and budgeting.

+ FP&A or related understanding of accounting and analysis with some level of proficiency in related software such as QuickBooks, or equivalent. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is required.

+ Experience with data aggregation, analysis and reporting preferred (e.g., Addepar, Black Diamond, PCR).

+ Comfortable with financial planning, navigating estate and financial enterprises across Partnerships, Trusts, Limited Liability Corporations, etc.

This position will also assist in the development and delivery of scalable reporting deliverables that support net-worth management and financial planning services which includes, updating personalized net worth and cash flow reporting, information management and tax reporting coordination. FP&A or related understanding of accounting and analysis with some level of proficiency in related software such as QuickBooks, or equivalent. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is required.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,515.00 – $95,900.00 – $105,490.00
