Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage daily visit requests for Lake Shore and Water Tower campuses, providing additional information to families, scheduling assistance, and prompt follow up.
2. Responsible for answering the visit phone line and responding promptly to the visit email inbox.
3. Enter student information and visit dates in our visit scheduler and provide confirmation to families.
4. Responsible for keeping up with changes in the calendar and working with counselor schedules.
5. Establish and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and other university department personnel who may meet with prospective families.
6. Work with faculty to set up a calendar of classroom visit times for prospective students and manage any changes throughout the year.
7. Provide excellent customer service on the phone, in emails and in person.
8. Participates in recruitment and yield events hosted at Loyola.
9. Informs prospective students and their families of the educational opportunities available at Loyola.
10. Represents Loyola at various programs, high school visits and college fairs. Builds effective relationships with school counseling staff to promote Loyola.
11. Makes timely admission decisions on applicants to Loyola
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field, with one year of related experience. Licenses: Valid driver's license
Qualifications
-Professional experience within a college or university with knowledge of admission and financial aid processes desired.
-Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
-Presentation, word processing and spreadsheet software; use of Docfinity, Technolutions Slate, PeopleSof and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
-Ability to articulate the values and mission of a Jesuit education.
-Team player who has the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
-Ability to work independently with little supervision.
-Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
-Ability to travel nights and weekends required.
-No difficulties in standing for long periods of time.
-Ability to carry approximately 40 lbs of materials for programming and recruitment.
