As a Manager, Product Manager on the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) Product team, you will be part of the Enterprise Machine Learning Tools Team designing and delivering best in class libraries, components, and reference model pipelines for Capital One Data Scientists. This team is focused on accelerating speed to market for Capital One's models by creating well curated, interoperable, and standardized model development tooling. We're passionate about accelerating the speed to market for the next generation of models across Capital One and are looking for someone to provide Capital One data scientists with industry leading machine learning toolkits.

This role represents the needs of the customer to inform our product roadmap ensuring we deliver tools aligned with the intended business outcomes. You will be responsible for building the roadmap, feature definition and partnering with tech teams to deliver machine learning tools. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology and deeply empathizes with internal and external customer needs. They are comfortable in conversation with engineering teams as well as stakeholders ranging from data scientists to senior leaders.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for key components of the platform.

Deeply understand the needs of data scientists and machine learning engineers across Capital One.

Prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes.

Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.

Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams.

Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies.

Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments.

Serve as the connection between customers, Capital One's mission, and your team.

You have excellent oral and written communication skills.

You are highly collaborative and have the ability to influence and lead.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or military experience

At least 3 years of experience in product management or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

MBA or Master's degree

1+ years of experience in Agile product management
