$10,00 for New Graduates
OSF will invest in you Day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive a bonus of 40 hours of Paid Time Off frontloaded on day one. This is in addition to our generous PTO plan!
Pay range for this position is $32.83 - $48.76/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.
POSITION SUMMARY: Registered Professional Nurses at OSF HealthCare are licensed professionals empowered to participate in an interdisciplinary approach to meet the expectations of those we serve. As members of the Professional Nursing Congress, the registered nurses are actively involved in the continued evidence based development of best practices to ensure individualized and desired outcomes at discharge. Registered Nurses receive recognition for their involvement through Clinical Ladder Best at the Bedside Program. Nursing practice follows the mission of the Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis serving our community with the "greatest care and love". RN works in Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology procedural areas.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: License/Certifications: Completion of an accredited nursing program. Current State license as a Registered Nurse. ACLS required. Other Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrate the critical care knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit(s). This requires that the incumbent demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of the patient population served. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to work with patients receiving anesthesia during procedure. Work requires the interpersonal skills necessary to comfort family members and/or significant others; to communicate effectively and concisely with other infant care providers; and to instruct family members and/or significant others in home care procedures. Work requires analytical ability necessary to assess infants' physical, psychological and social needs, develops individualized infant care plans. Work requires after-hours Call and back-up call as well as the ability to critically think and function autonomously while on call. May Circulate. Monitors patient while in procedure, administers patient medications during procedure as ordered by physician.
