Purpose and Summary Statement
Provides management, supervision, and leadership of the operations of the assigned location including personnel, scheduling, logistics, product handling, application services, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements of business plans that maximize location profitability.
Job Functions
* Responsible for managing all operations at Hennepin Dry and 32% Terminals.
* Schedules maintenance of facility and equipment.
* Responsible for inventory and quality control of product.
* Maintains high quality level of employee, facility, and equipment image.
* Leads facility in obtaining goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
* Effectively utilize personnel and equipment to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
* Collaborates with the Safety Director on all safety and compliance requirements.
* Track inventory in both the liquid and dry terminals.
* Use AgVance and Kahler programs for blending of fertilizer.
* Work with Growmark on putting paperwork into the SAP program on barges received.
* Dispatch company owned trucks when they are not working for the crops dept.
Job Requirements:
* 1-3 years' experience working in Ag retail or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and background check.
* Must understand basic business principles of inventory management and personal supervision.
* Demonstrates strong communications, leadership, organizational, planning, and mechanical skills.
* Basic-intermediate computer skills.
* Excellent customer relations and service skills.
