Job Description
PositionHighlights:
*Position: X-Ray Technologist I
*Location: Skokie Hospital
*Full Time/Part Time: Resource/Per Diem
*Hours: Day shift includes rotating hours and weekends
*Required Travel: N/A
What you will need:
*License: IEMA licensing required
*Education: Certificate or Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program
*Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required within 1 year of employment
*Experience:Previous radiology experience preferred
*Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
What you will do:
*Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
*Perform radiographic exams
*Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
*Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
