NIQ Cybersecurity is seeking a skilled Sr. Advisor to join our Security Champions team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that our organization's cybersecurity practices follow industry regulations and customer requirements. Most importantly, we seek a team member to bring energy, excitement, and passion to this role to help influence and build a cybersecurity-focused culture.
Responsibilities
Security Champions:
Promote security awareness and education throughout the organization, encouraging a culture of security.
Encourage employees to report security incidents and provide guidance on how to do so.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to identify and address security risks.
Serve as a subject matter expert on security matters, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed.
Security Awareness and Training:
Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs to all employees and contractors.
Create and maintain security training materials, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular security training sessions, workshops, and simulations.
Work with business units to ensure that all employees and contractors are aware of the company's security policies and procedures.
Business Liaison:
Conduct reviews of customer contracts to ensure that customer security requirements are aligned with NIQ's posture.
Collaborate with the sales team to complete customer security assessments.
Engage with customers to provide security-related guidance and respond to their concerns.
Collaborate with legal teams to ensure that appropriate security provisions are included in contracts.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in information security.
Strong knowledge of security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
