Responsibilities
Primary Tasks:
- Supports all aspects of the hiring and in-processing function across the Group O footprint
- Ensures all new hire starts are coordinated appropriately, and all pre-employment documents are completed correctly and within the necessary legal timeframes
- Facilitates all pre-employment checks including criminal background, E-Verify, and drug screens where relevant
- Works with IT to help coordinate and ensure all necessary equipment is ordered, delivered, and functioning appropriately within the necessary timeframes
- Ensures managers are ready and prepared to welcome new hires on their first day
- Acts as a welcoming entity introducing new hires into Group O with a calm, pleasant, and helpful demeanor
- Coordinates and distributes welcome boxes and kits to all new hires at the appropriate time and location
- Ensures all new employee folders are completed and constructed in accordance with procedure
- Assists with the posting open positions through applicant tracking system (ATS) and on a variety of online job boards, with professional organizations, and in other position-appropriate venues
- Attend job fairs, college & community events, and industry/professional related networking events
- Perform all tasks according to local, state, and federal labor laws and guidelines (EEO/OFCCP)
- Maintain/update required Recruitment Department reports as needed and assigned
- Assist with Recruiting-related projects
Secondary Tasks:
- New employee orientations; other HR training programs
- Clerical duties including filing, assembly of orientation and training materials, and HR-relate
