Junior Back End (Associate / Senior Associate), Tax Technology
Alvarez & Marsal's Taxand practice is seeking a talented junior developer (back end or full stack) to join the tax technology team. This hire will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting world class software. Your software will operate in all facets of A&M Taxand; from internal tools that improve efficiencies to client facing enterprise systems that compete at the world level.
How you'll contribute
- Consult with clients and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the problems
- Contribute to envisioning elegant solutions to some of the most challenging business problems
- Contribute to designing clean architecture with an emphasis on reusable components
- Build efficient and explainable code
- Test your work to a high standard
- Contribute to all aspects of a project's lifecycle: documenting requirements, solution development, system configuration, testing, debugging, and support

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology & Accounting
- A practical approach to building software
- 1 to 3 years of experience working with
- Microsoft .NET, C#
- Relational Databases systems like MSSQL or Oracle
- API Development and testing
- Azure
- A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work
- A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Excellent communication and business writing skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
