Job Description

Objective of Position:

TheEnterprise Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the effective administration of the Bank’s Risk programs including, Property and Casualty and Management Insurance, Model Risk Management, Records Management, and assisting in the compilation of Committee Meeting materials. The position will also support other Operational Risk efforts, as needed, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and Risk Assessments.

Duties & responsibilities:
  • Support administration of Property and Casualty and Management Insurance Program, including annual application completion, ongoing communications with insurance broker (claims, property sales, other coverage requirement changes, questions), maintaining certificates of insurance, and reporting to Enterprise Risk Management and Risk Committees.
  • Assist in the development and compilation of materials for Operational Risk Management Committee, Enterprise Risk Management Committee, and Risk Committee.
  • Support administration of Model Risk Program.
  • Support Business Continuity Disaster Recovery programs for Risk and Compliance departments.
  • Assist in performance of periodic control testing, and validation of action plan completion, as needed.
  • Represents Risk in strategic project meetings, such as new product rollouts, product enhancements, significant internal / system changes.
  • Continually partners with Business Units to promote the value of a strong risk and control culture across the organization.
  • Provides depth and backup to other teams within ERM including Operational Risk Management (Risk Assessments, RCSA reviews), Vendor Management, and Branch Review, as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience equivalent
  • Background in banking, bank operations, risk, compliance, or audit
  • 1-3 years risk management environment, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Confidence to work directly with senior management, and lead internal training sessions
  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate effectively with Business Units
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Visio and Tableau experience, a plus


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000.
