Macneal Hospital Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Social Worker/LCSW/LCPC - Inpatient Psychiatry.Registry- weekends

The Behavioral Health team is seeking future colleagues with a passion to provide advanced behavioral health knowledge and skills including direct and indirect assessment and care to patients and families, crisis intervention, support group facilitation, behavioral health education and problem solving in all clinical care areas.

Our Licensed Social Workers in Inpatient Psychiatry are a specialized team that performs care with patients who have been identified as needing psychological assessment or interventions beyond the scope of general patient care practice.

In this position, the social worker will complete Level of Care Assessments (psychosocial) and participate in the development of the individual treatment plan on all inpatients. The social worker will regularly consult with attending psychiatrists regarding patients' condition throughout treatment, which includes participating in weekly clinical staffing with the treatment team and coordinating discharge planning in conjunction with the treating psychiatrist.

Requirements:

Master's degree required in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work

Certification/Licensure: Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required. Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
