Area Sales Manager – T-Mobile

We are launching a brand new T-Mobile® Assisted Sales Program and seeking an Area Manager to make a strong sales impact in the wireless environment.
The ActionLink Area Sales Manager is responsible for the communication and execution of all program sales and marketing strategies within a specified territory. The Manager will assist with staffing and handle the training and development of a team of wireless sales specialists within the designated geographic area. This role will report directly to our T-Mobile Program Manager, ensure all direct reports are thoroughly trained in their specific program initiatives, and participate in ongoing collaboration with both field and client leadership teams to ensure a standard of excellence in all field execution duties.

POSITION DUTIES:
+ Responsible for the execution of all ActionLink sales program strategies
+ Communicate all strategies to direct reports and store teams
+ Responsible for minimum compliance standards on an ongoing basis
+ Achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to:
+ Sell-thru performance targets
+ In-store market share targets
+ Targeted recommendation rate
+ Responsible for maintaining relationships with ActionLink sales specialists and retail store leadership teams
+ Responsible for in-field training and coaching of field direct reports
+ Responsible for the performance management of field representatives including rewards, recognition, and accountability
+ Responsible for reporting in-field findings and making recommendations around process improvements
+ Monitor and review all field call reports
+ Adhere to the guidelines of the ActionLink Travel & Expense Policy
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Minimum two (2) years of experience leading a field sales team
+ Experience within the mobile wireless industry preferred
+ Knowledge of retail business and sales execution
+ Experience working in multi-unit capacity strongly preferred
+ Must have the ability to travel as needed by vehicle and/or plane
+ Home office space with high-speed internet connectivity and a phone
+ Ability to build and foster business relationships at multiple levels
+ Ability to performance manage, mentor, and motivate a remote team
+ Strong ability to positively influence others
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Proven time management and organizational skills
+ Ability to work weekends
