Job Description
Aerotek is hiring qualified maintenance professionals for a major e-commerce distribution center that has been voted one of the top employers by Forbes over the last 3 years with over 1,200 facilities in U.S. This company provides formal training on high speed, automation, robotic equipment and a lot of potential for upward mobility.
Location: Matteson, IL
Pay: $26/HR
Shift: Must be open to work any shift, we have all available
Type of Hire: Contract-to-Hire
Job Description:
• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (Ex: conveyors)
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures
• Enter downtime data in daily log, complete PM sheets
• Electrical, knowledge of basics components
• Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment

Skills & Qualifications:?
Tech 2s MUST HAVE at least 6 months experience performing maintenance on equipment within the last 2 years of their employment.
Preferred Industries & Equipment : Candidate from Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment (running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, creating work orders), specifically experience with conveyors.
Secondary: Candidate from Automotive, Military, Industrial Facilities Maintenance, etc. industries that have experience performing maintenance on complex systems and equipment (running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, creating work orders).
Education: preferred candidates would have an associate degree from a technical school, apprenticeship, certifications, military training, hands on training related to maintenance field.
ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE OPEN TO ANY 12 HOUR SHIFT. Shifts are roughly 50/50 for days and nights openings. The shift schedule will be similar to other sites with candidates either working Sunday-Wednesday or Wed-Saturday, 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am.
