We are offering the chance for selected candidates with a strong interest in helping the aging population an opportunity to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)! If you have an interest in being a caregiver or you come from a healthcare background as a housekeeper, dietary aide, or other role, this is the program that will lead you to the next step in your career! If you’re new to healthcare, you can now become a CNA and use this program as a springboard to get your Nursing license. With your interest and desire to help others in mind, AbleHearts will sponsor your class at NO COST TO YOU (to include books, fees, testing and training) and employ you as a Resident Aide while you train!
Upon completion of training and successful passing of the IL state CNA test, you agree to commit to a full-time position (various shifts available) at Inverness Health and Rehab.

Benefits may vary based on employment status
+ Training/Experience as a nursing assistant or home-health aide preferred
+ High school diploma or GED, must be at least 18 years of age.
+ Certified medication training preferred
+ Able to interact professionally with staff, visitors and family members.
+ Able to perform shift work including weekends and holidays
+ We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment
