The Professional Services group within the Oracle Hospitality Global Business Unit (HGBU) is seeking a creative problem-solver to join our team as a Professional Services Development Specialist. This is a technical position requiring a self-motivated individual capable of working with a remote team. Experience with Oracle Hospitality Property Management OPERA Version 5.6 and Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

+ Creation of custom solutions for exports, reports, utilities, and application extensions

+ Assist with the implementation of customized solutions for international customers

+ Submit timely and accurate project status

+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery

Requirements :

+ Fluent in spoken and written English

+ Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

+ Familiar with PCI / PA-DSS requirements

+ Proficiency in at least one of the following

+ Oracle PL/SQL

+ Oracle Report Builder

+ Oracle Forms Builder

+ Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition or Oracle Analytics Server

+ Oracle Visual Builder

+ Java

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a Professional Services Development Specialist you will be responsible to analyze requests for customization on reports, forms, exports, and application extensions; and to provide a scope of work. You will create customized solutions based on approved scope of work within the estimated amount of time. You will also provide assistance in creating standard reports, export files, and back-office exports.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for analysis, business justification and communication on a technical level with customers and vendors are required. Ability to travel as needed.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $30.43 to $60.91 per hour; from $63,300 to $126,700 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $28.75 to $54.81 per hour; from $59,800 to $114,000 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $28.75 to $57.88 per hour; from $59,800 to $120,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $32.12 to $57.88 per hour; from $66,800 to $120,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
