Our client is in need of a Systems Engineer for a 100% Remote – 6 month Contract engagement as they migrate into Office 365.
Top Skills’ Details
1. Previous migration experience into Microsoft Office 365 (4-5 years) – The workload itself will include the migration of thousands of new users from existing email platforms into Office 365.
2. Azure Active Directory experience
3. Windows server experience
Preference is to have someone local to Chicago or Minnesota (will consider 100% remote) – for one off scenarios dealing with Datacenter environments / team building events.

Job Description
Under general direction, formulates and defines specifications for complex systems, which may include Engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Designs, Implements or installs, maintains and administers infrastructures including Hardware, software, and configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tunes, accordingly. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures.
Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. May have sole responsibility for projects. May provide guidance and oversight to junior resources.
Responsibilities:
-Designs and Implements, configures and manages solutions within the following systems, products and services: Microsoft Windows Servers Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Cloud, Linux Systems, VMware.
-Monitors and proactively manages supported products and services to assure their performance, availability, security and capacity.
-Diagnoses, isolates, and resolves problems with supported technologies, product and services. Identifies and documents root cause.
-Serves as a point of contact representing supported technologies, products, and services to other IT groups.
