Job Description
Strategic Project Lead

Summary of Job Responsibilities:
Overall leadership for and execution of strategic Capex investment project within the West Europe region
Management of multi-functional project team, external engineering companies and technical reviews, working closely with site leadership teams and all functions
Budget responsibility of $10MM and above depending on specific project
Overall responsibility for delivering project scope 'on time in full' (OTIF)

Key Activities
Lead the multi-functional team, through regular team meetings, and engage stakeholders to ensure efficient running of the team
Lead project reviews, ensuring Engineering, R&D, EHS and FS&Q management are updated on project progress and able to support the resolution of issues and roadblocks
Define project goals, objectives, scope, milestones, and deliverables
Complete full feasibility analysis on solutions, in line with company stage gate process
Report project progress to all levels within the organization, locally, regionally and internationally, demonstrating excellent communication skills and building strong working relationships
Provide leadership and direction to functional leads
Define project tasks and resource requirements within the project technical team and resource management.
Ensure project risks are assessed, managed and mitigated as part of the project plan
Support Early Equipment Management process and incorporate findings into technical design where practicable
Support development of training plans for roles to be impacted within a project (e.g. Operators, Team Leaders, Engineers, FS&Q, EHS, Logistics)
Support project post implementation reviews for all aspects of the project

Hard Skills

Attributes and Experience
Bachelor or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline
years of relevant working experience of which minimum 3 years in Project Management roles
Track record of successful project delivery in an FMCG Supply Chain environment
Experienced in managing, supporting and challenging multi-functional teams
