What You Will Do:
Lead projects to increase efficiency and scalability
Manage design, rollout, and training for new systems and upgrades to systems
Identify, enhance, and streamline processes and practices through tools and technology
Manage Outside Counsel spend and DEI initiatives
Coordinate process changes with legal associates, business associates, IT, and vendors
Gain expertise in the administration of the core legal technology, such as iManage and Legal Tracker, and optimize usage
Manage projects according to plan and budget
Manage maintenance and improvement assignments for identified tools and technology solutions
Collaborate with the Principal Knowledge Specialist to update and create forms and processes using Microsoft 365 (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.)
Implement technology solutions
Work with IT to integrate legal technology and corporate IT solutions where appropriate
Manage e-billing and vendors
Negotiate our arrangements with law firms, track fee arrangements, and drive vendor cost-control initiatives

Position Details:
This role can be based in St. Paul, Minnesota or Naperville, Illinois.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Demonstrated experience managing external spend and billing
Demonstrated experience developing, documenting, and improving processes
No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
Training in six sigma methodologies
2+ years of prior experience in legal operations, in an in-house legal department and/or in a law-firm
Experience in document management, matter management and contract management technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and communications skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate)
Comfortable learning new tools and systems
