Job Description
Description Our SaaS client is looking for a Packaging Production Designer to join their team!The role is Hybrid only 2 days per week Onsite Mondays and Wednesdays, in Oak Brook, IL.
This is an exciting role for a Packaging Production Designer to work alongside other internal designers to develop concepts for cartons and labels, then applying the design to different SKU's. There is both layout and design work so you need to be familiar working with packaging files.
This role is 70% production vs. 30% design.
Responsibilities of the Packaging Production Designer:
-Finalizing print ready packaging files
-Spotting inconstancies
-Working within brand standards required
-Ensuring key and die lines are acceptable for printers
-Preproduction mark-ups
Requirements for the Packaging Production Designer:
-Previous packaging production experience
-Understand printer requirements( trapping, line tolerances, draw downs, etc.)
-Adobe Creative Suite
-Strong attention to detail
