Northwest Respiratory Services seeks a Part Time Medical Oxygen Service Technicians to join our team in Chicago, IL. This person is the face of the company for our customers, providing empathetic and highly accurate communication in support of their health and quality of life. You will educate patients on the use of their equipment, troubleshoot issues, check-in with patients to ensure proper and safe use of their equipment, and build trust with our customers through regular face-to-face interactions.
A day in the life:
Make deliveries in a straight truck or van, up to 16 feet in length
Deliver and educate on safe use and care of respiratory equipment at each patient’s residence.
Document patient interactions for compliance and billing accuracy
Resolve patient equipment problems on an as needed basis
Qualifications

 

Our top candidate will have:
Current state issued driver's license
Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check, drug test, and DOT physical
Ability to lift, pull, push and carry heavy equipment daily.
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to work with the public and help others obtain a better quality of life
Dedication to our mission that includes caring for our customers with the highest standard of compassion, integrity, and care
Additional licensure:
Class C CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. We can help you get this!
21 Age requirement for Hazmat in these states Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and South Dakota
18 Age requirement for Hazmat in these states Illinois, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa
