WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Implement the nVent CADDY service strategy to provide Building Information Management (BIM) support for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contractors
Work alongside MEP contractors to model content related to nVent CADDY seismic products
Drive revenue growth by identifying new areas to provide BIM support
Guide development of family models for use internally and externally
Collaborate with global counterparts on best practices and new technology
Apply your deep experience with BIM modeling and clash detection to drive growth for MEP contractors
Gain specialized knowledge in seismic codes and standards
Help refine scope of work statements for the service offering
Accurately interpret engineered seismic bracing prints and translate into BIM 3D modeling.
interface effectively with internal and external customers
Negotiate and work with outside agencies
Work across time zones in a multi-cultural environment
YOU HAVE:
BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or BIM Technology preferred, not required
3+ years of construction software experience.
Knowledge of or able to learn the following: Revit, Navisworks, BIM360/ACC, Bluebeam, Google Suite, Smartsheet, Excel, Dynamo, Open BIM (IFC)
Ability to create content: Families including parametric, formula, nested and type catalogs data.
Understanding of how to integrate Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and other Autodesk software with other applications.
