Position Summary:
Under general supervision, Accounting Associate will reconcile, classify, and analyze accounts payable and receivable transactions for the department.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payables and Receivables Processing including providing purchasing services for the Department, processing reimbursements, monitoring accounts, and reconciling transactions against university reports.
Reporting including monthly reporting and annual reporting; assist and perform year-end closing procedures; maintain records in preparation for university or external audits.
Customer Service: Perform general office duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. A. Bachelor's degree with a major in Accountancy or a related field AND two (2) years of professional level accounting experience.
OR
B. Possession of current registration as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant, or a valid license to practice Public Accounting (LPA).
OR
C. Master's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
