Actalent Services is seeking a Automation Engineer to join our team. The Automation Engineer Position will be responsible for a combination of programming robots, designing electrical drawings, and installation & service of completed robot cells at customer locations. The primary responsibility will be managing multiple robot programming projects at once. Advanced Internal Training is available. There will be opportunities to further develop hands on skills such as well as welding, manual and CNC machining, design, R&D, or other interest that the candidate has. Description: The Automation Engineer Position will be a combination of designing, building, programming, installation, training, and service. The primary will be programing and installation of custom robotics projects throughout the year. Currently we use ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, and Yaskawa robots. Internal Training is available. There will be opportunities to further develop robotic skills as well as welding, machining, design, R&D, or other interests that the employee has. Job Duties: Building custom robotic cells: Wiring Fabricating Assembly Programming: PLC’s Safety Systems Robots (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka) Press brake machinery Installation: Engineer follows a single project Regional/national travel to customer site Onsite customer training Follow up service
