Position Summary The Product Marketing Associate, Infusion Systems Services will work with internal and/or external resources to maintain competitive position, product growth, drive demand generation, and value proposition for assigned infusion systems products. Duties will include a marketing focus on the creation, production, and implementation, including sales force training content, and maintaining 3rdparty relationships for compelling campaigns and materials that support the needs of ICU Medical’s marketing & sales objectives. The successful candidate for this role is clinically capable and passionate about the ideation, strategic thinking, brand promise, positioning, messaging, and collaboration required to develop and execute impactful customer facing product marketing efforts through a variety of global channels. This person is familiar with general MedTech product management across the marketing continuum and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. They must be a motivated self-starter and deadline oriented. Experience and the ability to thrive in a class II medical device highly regulated industry is required. Product marketing activities include marketing for: (but are not limited to); new product launch activities, pricing and packaging management of offerings, conventions, website, mobile, social media, journal/publications and sales force training, demand planning, forecasting trends, compiling actionable plans against competitive threats, participating in primary market research and secondary research analysis, and sales enablement utilizing both print and digital mediums. This individual understands brand/tone/voice consistency, leads global brand governance for assigned products and oversees the localization for regions outside of the US. Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Work with internal and external resources to develop strategically-sound, relevant and clinically accurate marketing communications programs and materials to support the business globally · Be the internal product executive and access point to the marketing communications team for defined internal clients. · Be a source of ideas as to where and how to maximize our efforts in reaching and influencing customers and other key audiences which monitoring what competitors are doing in messaging and positioning to continuously evolve ICU Medical products so as to maintain a competitive edge · Strong clinically oriented healthcare informatics and connectivity background · Work on special projects as they arise Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications · Ability to understand business strategies/goals, complex products and reinterpret in a way that is meaningful, relevant and consistent with the target audiences · Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems · Ability to be flexible in a very fluid and dynamic environment including dealing with changing processes and priorities · Ability to inspire and influence others to perform at optimal levels and deliver outstanding result · Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with ability to communicate abstract concepts · Excellent negotiation and influence skills with an ability to create consensus and achieve results · Experience developing and managing content for use in a variety of communication channels with consistent brand/tone/voice · Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels within and outside of the company · Must be extremely well-organized, capable of handling multiple details simultaneously, and able to easily move between strategic and tactical work · Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership · Conversant and comfortable with principles of good design, writing, and editing Education and Experience · BS/BA with a marketing emphasis or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred · 2 years in product marketing with understanding of current marketing and communication trends · 0-2 years of B2B experience in a highly regulated industry (medical device/software, commercial device/software, consumables or other healthcare); familiarity with device or software marketing and medical/regulatory/legal reviews a plus · 0-2 years in product management including understanding supply chain and logistics related to product management · Must have demonstrable infusion informatics experience Minimum Qualifications · Must be at least 18 years of age · Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Travel Requirements / / · Typically requires travel less than 20% of the time Physical Requirements and Work Environment / / · This is largely a sedentary role. · This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
