Job Description
Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Software Engineer with the following duties: design and develop optimal system solutions to meet business needs using standard functionality above customization. Participating in business requirements gathering meetings like grooming meetings; Participate in scrum meetings to update the daily work activities in team meeting; Interact with Business users during requirements gathering meetings and designed the system using Agile SDLC, doing the analysis, design, and development and testing phases of project; Implement REST service to UI team and consumed soap services from internal applications; Work on build/deploy with Docker for Continuous Integration. responsible for Hybris architecture, Impex's, Cron jobs and out of box features implementation; Work on Web Application Security scanning tools Veracode, SonarQube; Test and implement application module from multiple systems the team has develop or modified ensuring application meets the needs of client and business; Provide ongoing maintenance of mainframe and/or client/server applications or tools, depending upon previous involvement with projects; Develop web-based application based on MVC architecture; Create reusable components and other performance-enhancing techniques; Monitor all application related exception in Splunk and creates monitoring reports on performance; Provide application support training to business stakeholders, testing, and production support (in some cases) team members write and review documentation for accuracy; Perform hardware and software evaluations; Provide and mentor task-level estimation.
