Job Summary
The Position Is Responsible for for coordinating and supporting the response to cyber security incidents. Develops and executes response plans and control & minimize the damage resulting from cyber incidents. Coordinates results from the cyber defense ecosystem (IDS, SIEM, Firewalls, Hosts) and SOC monitoring with Investigative Services (Cyber Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics & Threat Hunting) and responds to incidents. Provides effective guidance for response and recovery activities, and works to prevent future incidents from happening. Responsible for developing and delivering recommendations to enhance the cyber defense technology stack; and develops threat rules and signatures for cyber defense detection technologies and capabilities. Develops, maintains, and trains staff and leaders on comprehensive incident response activities, metrics and incident response plans, detection run books and incident playbooks.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree and 5 years experience in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and 7 years experience in Information Technology OR 9 years experience in Information Technology.
* Experience with digital forensics techniques and tools.
* Understand portfolio-specific applications and technologies.
* Knowledge and experience with SIEM technologies.
* Experience with researching and tracking Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) campaigns.
* Experience with malware analysis or malware reverse engineering.
* Understanding of business portfolios.
* Understanding of business operations including products and services.
* Oral and written communications.
* Problem solving / analytical skills.
* Experience with enterprise incident handling .
* Experience with the Cyber Kill Chain and Intelligence Driven Defense.
* Ability to execute.
* Teamwork and collaboration.
* Organized and detail oriented.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under stress in emergencies.
* Ccustomer focus and the ability to manage customer expectations.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

NOTE:This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.
