JOB DUTIES Conferences & Events:
Flexible Schedule required
Provides onsite support to clients during conferences and special events
Manages day-to-day operation of conferences and events for up to 200 people including corporate, social and nonprofit events and internal Charles Schwab meetings
Greets clients and guests upon arrival to The Conference Center
Ensures conference rooms and event spaces are clean, stocked and set-up per the Event Order and Conference Center standards
Maintains vendor relationships and ensure vendors follow building policies and meet quality standards
Coordinates room setups, janitorial and security staffing
Assists clients with coordination of catering, AV, equipment rentals, hotels, transportation, and other meeting planning needs, upon request
Supports day-of event support from beginning to end while serving as a gracious host
Ensures events run smoothly, answer questions promptly and professionally, be available to clients throughout events to assist with any needs that arise
Provides post-event follow-up and notes to Private Events and Marketing Manager
Event logistics to properly plan the details and * Anticipates potential event pain points that may arise, and proactively troubleshoots them
Works closely with Private Events and Marketing Manager to execute marketing and social media campaigns
Participates in local area marketing efforts under the direction of the Private Events and Marketing Manager.

SKILLS AND APTITUDES Skills & Experience (Events):
2-3 years' hospitality-based event planning experience About JLL - * Proficient in MS Office suite and other spreadsheets, experience with CRMs, i.e. TripleSeat, preferable
Effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to a broad range of clientele with varied needs
Think and act quickly and efficiently when confronted with a client request
Must have excellent attention to detail and organization

Skills and Experience (Technology):
1+ years' Audio/Video experience
Moderate understanding of AV equipment, signal flow, and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with conference room technology
A/V experience in live event atmosphere is a plus
Basic IT experience with phone systems, networking and PC/Mac
Well-versed in video conferencing platforms such as Webex, Microsoft Teams and Zoom
Experience with Cisco, webex, teams, Zoom and other video conferencing hardware and software is a plus
Comfortable discussing technology with clientele and vendors

Must be comfortable working out of different office locations day to day or week to week.
