The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting our customer-base in providing aftermarket sales products for customer who choose not to purchase a service contract for their lab equipment, but still require products and services for their lab. As an Inside Sales Representative you will learn and develop the skills necessary to perform all job duties in both maintaining and growing your assigned sales geography, in our aftermarket sales division.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Effectively manage all stages of the sales cycle and manage the customer experience. Coordinate sales processes for your assigned geographical territory, primarily via the telephone or e-mail, coordinating and working alongside our Sales and Service teams. You will also leverage social media platforms, and some face-to-face sales techniques, in accordance with approved sales and marketing plans.

+ Leverage and utilize product features, benefits, and applications accompanied with your selling skills to identify and qualify sales leads, initiate the sales process, successfully promote, suggest and upsell SCIEX products and services to achieve or exceed your assigned territory sales commission plan.

+ Generate and negotiate quotes for fixed price services, consumables, software, software licenses, parts orders, off warranty products and create sales strategies to achieve or exceed your sales quota.

+ Connect with your customers, building strong relationships, ask open-ended questions to gain insights to determine your customers needs and provide them solutions.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or equivalent. Experience, college level courses in sales or marketing are desirable, but not required.

+ 1+ years’ experience in a Sales role. Recent experience with CRM tools, such as Salesforce is preferred, but not required.

+ Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience selling services, consumables and software agreements.

Additional Job Requirements:

+ The job requires up to 20% travel. A candidate for this role must be able to obtain a Valid US Passport and/or Valid Driver’s License.

+ Must be able to meet Vendor Credentialing requirements such as Hepatitis B/C, or other vaccinations as required by our vendors.

The salary range for this role is between $55,000.00 to $65,000.00, per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for incentive pay.
