A career within United States National Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients gain valuable insight into emerging tax issues and trends, as well helping them implement successful tax strategies in response to legislative, federal, and judicial tax developments that will impact their business.

Our National Economics and Statistics team helps our clients use data driven economic analysis to anticipate and respond to challenges and opportunities that arise from legislative and regulatory changes. You’ll conduct statistical analysis and modelling and data analytics with a focus on providing services to the Federal, Healthcare, Retail & Consumer, Legal and Financial Services Sectors.

One from the following list: CPA, Admission to the Bar, Enrolled Agent, Masters and/or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics/Finance, Qualifying government experience in Tax as approved by the Credentialing Committee, Enrolled Actuary with Associate/Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, PhD – Computer Science/Information Science or STEM Equivalent.

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

+ Understanding microeconomic theory and its application to corporate strategy and consumer behavior;

+ Comprehending public finance with an emphasis on U.S. federal taxation including analyzing and modeling the economic consequences of alternative tax policies on individuals and businesses;

+ Conducting econometric analyses and other computer-based modeling; and,

+ Understanding statistics, including programming statistical, mathematical, and other modeling software. Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

+ Understanding microeconomic theory and its application to corporate strategy and consumer behavior;

+ Comprehending public finance with an emphasis on U.S. federal taxation including analyzing and modeling the economic consequences of alternative tax policies on individuals and businesses;

+ Conducting econometric analyses and other computer-based modeling; and,

+ Understanding statistics, including programming statistical, mathematical, and other modeling software.

+ Possessing mathematical, quantitative and computer skills, including familiarity with database and statistical processing software and computer programming concepts;

+ Demonstrating analytical and written/verbal communication skills, emphasizing writing on economic and business topics; and,

+ Operating as a tax technical team leader generating new business, proposal writing and delivery, collaborating across engagements and business units. Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in a professional services environment utilizing automation & digitization in a professional services environment, including but not limited to:

+ Understanding microeconomic theory and its application to corporate strategy and consumer behavior;

+ Comprehending public finance with an emphasis on U.S. federal taxation including analyzing and modeling the economic consequences of alternative tax policies on individuals and businesses;

+ Conducting econometric analyses and other computer-based modeling; and,

+ Understanding statistics, including programming statistical, mathematical, and other modeling software.

+ Possessing mathematical, quantitative and computer skills, including familiarity with database and statistical processing software and computer programming concepts;

+ Demonstrating analytical and written/verbal communication skills, emphasizing writing on economic and business topics; and,

+ Operating as a tax technical team leader generating new business, proposal writing and delivery, collaborating across engagements and business units.

+ Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions;

+ Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights to clients; and,

+ Transforming the business by creating capacity and delivering an enhanced employee and client experience.
