About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Secured Lending Relationship Manager in Wells Fargo Capital Finance’s Lender Finance (LF) Group. Primary responsibilities for the Senior Relationship Manager include: credit and administration of a portfolio of lender finance’s most complex and high profile clients including analyzing collateral and financial performance of borrowers; reviewing and negotiating credit loan documents, working closely with Corporate and Investment Banking, Middle Market Regional Banking, Leverage Finance, Financial Sponsor coverage, and other Wells Fargo partners to build strong relationships, provide superior service and guidance , enhance credit and other economic opportunities with customers within the existing portfolio base, and mitigate credit, regulatory, and financial crimes risk. LF clients consist of specialty finance companies, including other asset-based lenders, factors, equipment leasing, and other nonbank lenders.

In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in building and maintaining effective relationships with new clients and client’s suppliers within Secured Lending Relationship Management function by designing and implementing a solution that meets the customer’s needs

Review and analyze client’s financial performance and projections with sensitivity analysis.

Independently facilitate the structure of complex credit requests.

Lead discussions with senior management and Independent Risk Management (IRM) to address client requests and other portfolio matters and strategize on problem loan resolution

Lead and actively participate in loan documentation discussion with clients and outside counsel to provide solutions that balance risk and reward for both Wells Fargo and the client.

Provide coaching to assigned analyst on a monthly basis and collaborate with Secured Lending Relationship Management peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives

Required Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of Secured Lending Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

+ Direct Lender Finance experience Knowledge and understanding of asset based lending Microsoft Office skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Solid problem solving and decision making skills BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics Strong accounting skills

Job Expectations:

+ 15% travel

The salary range in Los Angeles, California is $126,000 to $250,000

Pay Range

$120,400.00 – $250,000.00 Annual
