Job Description

Danfoss has an excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to design and develop software for variable frequency drives as part of cross-functional product teams.
60% work from home flexibility after the probationary period.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Develop software for variable frequency drives on agile product teams.
Plan user stories, estimate effort required, and complete the story within a sprint.
Maintain records in the form of time, project, and work tracking reports.
Understand and adhere to a defined software development process.
Be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally 5% of time.

Bachelor's degree in software/ Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Preferred qualifications
Master's Degree with advanced course work in areas relevant to position
Job Criteria
Experience developing software on an embedded target
Knowledge of embedded and real-time software design, software-hardware interaction with real time operating systems, concurrency, data integration, and software architectural patterns.
Interested in C/C++, Simulink, PLC, Python, PowerShell, and field bus development
Working knowledge of Windows and tools used for embedded software development.
Knowledge of software configuration management (Git and Azure DevOps).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
