Job Description
Monitor interactive design and development across multiple products, including next generation website and other customer facing applications. Develop tools and processes to improve quality of front-end code while creating a more efficient and sustainable development workflow for websites and applications. Work with front-end technologies for enterprise-scale websites and applications. Provide effective translation to code artifacts and implement appropriate integration approach for API and data layer. Perform architecture, design, documentation, development, debugging, and deployment efforts while addressing security and cross-browser and cross-platform expectations and concerns. Recommend, define, create, and maintain design system, including Visual Style Guide to be used across various web applications. Maintain and enhance atomic design-based component library in React. Write automated unit, integration, performance, and visual regression test cases. Promote, implement, and evolve development best practices on commits, versioning, and dependency management. Work with JavaScript; ES6; Typescript; React; HTML5; CSS3; CSS preprocessors; GraphQL schema design; website development with CMS; software development and digital transformation projects; defining front-end architecture; creating modern websites using JAMStack architecture; implementing client side usage; modern package management; build and test frameworks (NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Jest, Enzyme, Karma, Jasmine, and Mocha); and, design system and service design concepts, techniques, and best practices.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with JavaScript; ES6; Typescript; React; HTML5; CSS3; CSS preprocessors; GraphQL schema design; website development with CMS; software development and digital transformation projects; defining front-end architecture; creating modern websites using JAMStack architecture; implementing client side usage; modern package management; build and test frameworks (NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Jest, Enzyme, Karma, Jasmine, and Mocha); and, design system and service design concepts, techniques, and best practices.
