Accounting Systems Analyst, Naperville or Chicago, IL
We are looking for an Accounting Systems Analyst with an education and/or experience in managing or implementing accounting and other business systems. This position will be part of the corporate accounting team and based in Illinois.
The position will be responsible for management, improvement, and implementation of the company's accounting and business systems. In addition to working with the accounting team and the Controller the position will be collaborating with teams and representatives from other departments across the company. A successful candidate will need to be able to understand the company's business processes, project critical processes, and technologies enabling those processes. The candidate will also need to be organized and have excellent people and communication skills.
The Impact You Will Have:
Maintain and manage the company's Deltek accounting and reporting ERP system.
Implement and collaborate with the team on company's migration to Deltek Vantagepoint.
Manage custom reporting requests in Deltek and other systems.
Maintain the system configuration for changes in business needs.
Work with company management and other support departments on meeting the business needs as they relate to systems and reporting.
Assist in creation and maintenance of various API connections between company systems.
Ensure data integrity in Deltek Vision and Vantagepoint.
Assist accounting department in developing and implementing invoicing process improvement.
Assist accounting and marketing departments in configuring and maintaining the CRM module.
Work with external consultants on system customizations.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelors degree with a combination of majors and/or minors in: Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics & Information Management (BAIM), Accounting, Finance majors from an accredited university strongly preferred.
Advanced use of Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint as it applies to the position would be a candidate differentiator.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills are required for success in this position
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, use of pivots, macros, and data management) and knowledge of SQL a plus
