Job Responsibilities:
-Analyze data, initiate, launch & deliver profit improvement projects that will contribute to OPACC-C goals.
-Analyzing cost, price, engineering, aftermarket and purchasing data to determine if a set of parts have the best margins, discerning if cost, price or process changes should be pursued.
-Support major aftermarket component categorization, rationalization and launch profit improvement projects that will
-Identify ideas and provide input for the development of tools and processes to enhance profit improvement analysis
-Actively participate in multi-disciplinary team(s)
-Collaborate with Component Engineers, Pricing Analysts, and Purchasing
-Diverse, utilizes facts to initiate improvements, goal oriented, continuously improving, collaborative, allows entrepreneurship when delivering results
-Minimum Tu-Th On Site, AWS potential (44/36hrs Alternating Fridays off)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in an accredited Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar field
-0 to 2 technical related experience; Internships or School Projects can count for this
- Basic mechanical aptitude - basic electrical and hydraulic component knowledge
-Demonstrated analytical skills that can identify data relationships, trends and outliers
-Skilled in use of Microsoft Excel
- Proven team collaboration and interpersonal skills
-The ability to learn quickly, and be a positive agent for change
Desired Qualifications:
-Engineering, purchasing, business resources or pricing system experience
- Self-starter with strong technical skills
-Ability to develop good working relationships with others across the organization
