Job Description
Actalent is hiring for a chemist in the Alongquin, IL area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of five labs in a large production facility producing a large volume of product. This is a bustling environment with mentorship and guidance.
This role will be in the specialty products lab, where individuals will assist in development and quality of products, and eventually adjusting formulations as well. The chemist will work with balancers and mixers the most. After training, they will also utilize pneumatic equipment for aerosol cans, as well as color computers. With a growing company, this role is in 1 of 5 labs supporting contract manufacturing business.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in the sciences
+ 2-5 years of experience working in a laboratory, preferably chemistry
+ Working in paints, coatings, chemical, ink, or similar industry highly preferred
