Retail Merchandiser – Electronics – Part Time
Location IL – VERNON HILLS
Come join our Electronic Display Team! No weekends or evenings required.
ActionLink connects people with the brands they love! Our team of Electronic Specialists visit major box stores to service, build, troubleshoot and maintain promotional displays for our innovative clients such as Microsoft®, Samsung®, Bose®, among many others.
WHEN & WHERE WILL YOU WORK?
+ Around 5 – 20 hours per week
+ Weekly assignments are self-scheduled; flexible scheduling between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
+ Visits are conducted at a variety of retailers within a 30 mile radius of Vernon Hills, IL
+ Best Buyis the center of the territory radius
PAY :
Pay Rate is $16 – $18 per hour. This role operates on a 2-tiered pay rate system based on the specific in-store merchandising task being done:
+ $16.00/hour for General Merchandising tasks – these are routine, visual maintenance assignments such as product stocking/placement, updating signage, auditing inventory, tidying up the display, basic endcaps, changeouts, etc.
+ $18.00/hour for Merchandising Plus tasks – these are more advanced, technically involved assignments such as electronic device set ups/hook-ins, power functionality, display troubleshooting, interactive installations, etc.
+ W2 biweekly pay schedule
+ Eligible for a paid time off accrual plan and 401(k) plan option with employer match
+ Paid training, mileage, and store-to-store drive time
ARE YOU A MATCH?
+ Strong detail-orientation to follow sets of written instructions and display diagrams
+ Ability to work independently and communicate reliably as a remote field employee
+ Access to reliable transportation to cover our retail vendor locations within a 30 mile radius
+ Access to internet, basic hand-held tool set, smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS, and printing capability
+ Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
