BRIEF JOB OVERVIEW
Aerotek is looking for bilingual chemical batch makers on 2nd shift.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Loading and unloading machinery with ingredients
Weighing and measuring product
Loading product into machinery via forklift – need active/previous cert
Blending products
Following sheets to know what to produce
Working with leads to learn role and machinery
Staging products and loads via forklift
Setting up and adjusting machinery for production runs
Staging finished orders
Putting orders into inventory and shipping
Following guidelines to prepare products
Monitoring machinery and process during production runs
QUALIFICATIONS
Machine operator experience
Batch mixing in chemical industry
Has HSD/ GED
SKILLS REQUIRED
blending, batch mixing, blender, filler operator, forklift, stocking, machine operating, loading, unloading, loading trucks
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Smaller facility that is climate controlled. Half of the building is inventory where product is stored, other half is some packaging lines. Very clean and sanitary, they repackage cleaning supplies. Smaller workforce of about 30 total people. Big kitchen area, the plant manager makes salsa and tacos for the employees once a week. Tight knit workforce that all gets a long very well. 1 Shift operation. 2 breaks and 1 lunch.
SHIFT
Pay is 19-24$ an hour on 2nd shift, 1pm-11pm, will train on 1st for 2 weeks.
1st shift – 6am – 3:00pm – Working heavy OT expect 50-60 hours a week and weekends
Have been having them train starting at 11am to 9pm
