CTG is seeking to fill aSenior Applications Analystopening.This position is remote – work from home.
Location: Remote – work from home
Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension
Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager with Business Analyst skills, who can take leadership of a project, grow in the role technically, and communicate effectively. PMP is desired, but not required. You will balance technical requirements, team logistics, and schedules to meet customer requirements. Your ability to manage the customer relationship while representing IT is critical to your success.
Primary Functions:
- Manage project deployment, while mitigating risk for the customer.
- Define the customization of global operational processes together with relevant points of contact to meet project requirements (for example, network operations, supply chain, logistics, and acceptance).
- Manage the customer relationship during delivery and serve as the primary interface with the customer.
- Manage customer complaints, changing requirements and corrective actions, while avoiding “scope creep”.
- Prepare a clear and effective communications plan, and ensure proactive communication of all relevant information to the customer and all stakeholders.
- Provide status reports, and conduct calls with clients and engineering teams.
Additional Functions:
- Monitor and controls that the project is delivered within the approved budget, profitability forecast, and planned scope.
- Ensure that the project meets all objectives for quality and looks continuously for quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Actively apply appropriate best practices and lessons learned throughout the life of the project. Monitors, controls, and reports KPIs defined in customer contracts.
- Ensure data in all project-related tools and repositories is accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct thorough risk management for all project risks and opportunities.
- Complete the project closure and handover as required, and include: Complete contractual requirements, post-calculation, and, lessons learned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 plus years of recent, strong Technical Project Management experience
- Technical project management: 5 years (Required)
- Technical Support: 7 years (Required)
- PMP (Desired)
- Basic understanding of Networks, Infrastructure, Cloud Hosted Computing, Application Architecture, and Cloud integration.
- Project Management experience with IT service provider, customer delivery and deployment skills
- Strong, capable leadership in tense situations
- Represent IT while managing customer expectations and service requests
- Managing the engineering team and project deliverables
- Must have solid IT PM experience
