Description
**This is a Full Time position at 40 hours per week for Multi Specialty located at the Crystal Lake clinic. Schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8a-5p.**
The Practice Operations Supervisor reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Practice Supervisor coordinates activities of the practice in consultation with the practice administrator and/or medical director. This position is responsible for supervision, hiring, training, teaching, coaching and scheduling of staff. This position contributes to the development and implementation of policies and procedures. This position will have comprehensive knowledge of RMG patients needs and will work to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of care, including problem resolution. This position will have comprehensive knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and health insurance patient billing. The position is an integral part of the practice leadership.
Qualifications
Required:
2 years of Medical Office Experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
3-5 years of previous supervisory experience preferred, or comparable experience.
Associate's degree in business or healthcare related field.
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to assess and determine situations requiring an interpreter and to use the interpreter services effectively.
Thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO's, PPO's, private insurance companies.
Understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding.
Familiar with practice management systems and data entry skills.
