Job Title: Program Manager (Product Development)

Location: Lisle, IL 60532

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead/coordinate major and minor programs to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and meet all technical/quality specifications
• Work with Strategic Planning
o Provide feedback on where the program fits into the overall product gannt
o Provide overall direction about process and help direct questions
o Assist in mediating conversations between functions and external parties
o Monitor spending against budget milestones and take corrective action as needed
• Product Development process documentation curator
• Support the preparation of presentations for the executive meeting collaboration, mediation, and administrator meetings
• Provide coaching and guidance to Program Managers and other stakeholders to assist with the Product Development process
• Manage the Scope Change process
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, demanding, cross-functional environment working with business users, project team members, IT development personnel, and vendors
• Promote a strong working partnership between business and IT members of the team and ensure excellent communications between team members, stakeholders, 3rd party vendors, and management at all levels

Basic Requirements
• Master’s degree
• At least 6 years of technical project/program management experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 8 years of technical project/program management experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
• At least 10 years of technical project/program management experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience

Desired Skills
• Demonstrated expertise in program management and product development processes.
• Track record of effectively managing cross-functional teams and deliverables.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and to prioritize activities based on business needs.
• Ability to interface with all management levels.
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, demanding, cross-functional environment working with business users, project team members, IT development personnel, and vendors.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to handle complexity (technical and organizational) and resolve issues as required.
• Strong understanding of systems. Able to understand technical terms and system design considerations.
• Curious, goal-oriented, and highly self-motivated with a passion for driving transformative change.
• Strong customer service orientation: enjoys people and creates raving fans.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of business and technical audiences.
• Work experience in OEM manufacturing or aftermarket parts industry a plus.
