The Wax Production Associate for Leica Biosystems is responsible for completing on time production orders and adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and the Quality Policy.
This position is part of the Production Operations located in Richmond, IL and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the Production Operations team and report to the Production Supervisor – Wax. If you thrive in a fast-paced, multifunctional, production role and want to work to build a world-class production organization-read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Weigh wax and package in appropriate packaging
+ Use machinery and equipment efficiently with a minimum of wasted time or materials
+ Trouble shoot and adjust equipment as required
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 1 (one) year experience in a factory setting
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Medical Quality background experience preferred
+ Mechanical aptitude
