Staff Management is looking for CNC Machinists Level I and II in Skokie, IL! The Machinists will operate multi-axis lathes in support of machining and other processes which include tasks such as loading and tending runs of parts, or performing one-step operations on individual parts. Pay Rate: $24.00 – $32.20 / hour
Duties:
+ Reads blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts for such specifications as dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions
+ Must be able to perform simple inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other miscellaneous gages.
+ May compute data such as dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates and machining times stored within cell.
+ Experience in multi axis precision machines (lathe) (must appear on resume)
+ SS material carbon steel, Hastelloy and N60 (experience is a must)

Position Requirements:
+ 1 to 5+ years of experience operating a multi-axis CNC lathe (must specify type of machine. EX. Mazak, Okuma, Samsung)
+ Starting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
+ Edit CNC Programs ( G-Code and M-Code machine language)
+ Must have working and operation knowledge of Fanuc and OSP CNC Controllers
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old., required education: HS Diploma or GED.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $24.00 – $32.20 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
