The Brand Management team promotes and maintains the brand image at local, national or international levels. Coordinates marketing strategies, including packaging, pricing, expense budgets, advertising and promotion of the brand. Develops associated advertising campaigns for the brand.

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking an Associate Program Manager, Content and Commerce for our first-of-its-kind division: WoW Studios. WoW Studios is the next generation of advertising, storytelling, and experience for brands like KitchenAid, Whirlpool, JennAir, Maytag, Amana, and more. With support from executive leadership, using the latest digital marketing tools, and empowering award-winning marketing teams and talent, we’re elevating Whirlpool Corporation through investing in creativity and improving consumers’ lives inside millions of homes.

WoW Studios is committed to increasing the total output of campaigns, content, design, experiences, and digital innovation across all consumer touchpoints (film, social, digital, experiential, etc).

WoW Studios’ North American headquarters is located in the historic Reid Murdoch Building (https://www.worldofwhirlpool.com/) at the edge of Chicago’s Riverwalk.

I n this role, you will assist in leading projects/programs from inception through to delivery serving as a contact to our brand partners. You bring marketing perspective, serve as a resource and bridge between critical business functions and WoW Studios while supporting all aspects of projects from concept to go-live, including schedule creation, project tracking, status reports, cost management, and deliverable deployment. You will lead or support cross-functional teams to the on-time completion of, and go-live dates for content that drive the desired consumer experience.

Your responsibilities will include

+ Proactively support programs with partners and stakeholders to guide projects through the project lifecycle

+ Assist in serving as a central point of contact and relationship lead for brand partners on the development and delivery of content programs and product launches.

+ Work closely with internal teams to deliver best in class work including but not limited to creative, design, strategy, production

+ Oversee or support WoW Studios content deliverables (photography, video, social)

+ Serve as a central touch-point for program oversight, coordination, schedule creation, cost management, and overall project flow.

+ Effectively articulate overall program objectives and business insights to project teams

+ Serve as key team contributor to deliver engaging content programs that meet marketing strategy and program goals

+ Understand and share insights on key competitors and their content programs

+ Collaborate with key internal and external partners to develop scope for individual initiatives and finalize project plans, budgets, and timelines

+ Partner with the Program Manager to support the governance of asset management for WoW Studios by working with internal teams to ensure appropriate content approvals and accessibility is available for internal and external teams.

Minimum requirements

+ ~2-3+ years as a Project/Program Manager, Digital and Content

Preferred skills and experiences

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Experience working in Workfront or other project management software

+ Possess the ability to work with our internal partners across product, development, research, marketing, and beyond to develop project plans that are inclusive and relevant to all groups

+ Diplomacy under pressure, and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations

+ Experience mitigating risks associated with off-scope obstacles

+ Demonstrate a proven track record of leading multicomponent programs from ideation to development through delivery of projects

+ Detail-oriented and organized; ability to prioritize and multitask

+ Contribute, deliver, and solicit feedback to continually improve processes and procedures to help create operational efficiencies

+ Confidence in providing feedback and direction to key stakeholders and various levels in the organization

+ Ability to synthesize data and analytics to formulate sound program objectives and goals

+ Goal driven and target oriented while able to step back and look at the bigger picture; proven ability to manage ambiguity and a preparedness to take on what is necessary to get things done
