Brief Description:

The Associate Director (AD), Oncology Marketing (Promotions) will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive promotional platform for the launch of an exciting new product candidate, for zanidatamab, a first in class HER2 targeted bispecific agent with a near term development program in biliary cancer and gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma.

The AD will lead several cross-functional teams working on key strategic and tactical projects/workstreams that will be critical for the launch. The candidate will serve as a critical member of the expanding Hem/Onc Business Unit.

Post-initial-approval, the candidate will help drive adoption within FDA-approved indications by developing strategic and tactical marketing plans, and may also lead launch efforts for subsequent indications. This individual will be responsible for setting strategy and implementing plans per relevant regulatory guidelines and Jazz policies and values. This position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing for Zanidatamab.

Essential Functions
Lead the development and implementation the promotional platform for the product (e.g. positioning, messaging, branding, medical education programs, market research); lead cross-functional teams through successful execution of the launch plan
Demonstrate the ability to quickly understand complex markets, disease states, competitive landscapes and relevant market and managed care dynamics
Help to develop/communicate a compelling vision and sense of purpose for project teams; assist in formulating long-range and mid-term strategies; demonstrate courage in advancing new, innovative ideas
Work with key functional partners - implementing market research initiatives, advisory boards, and evaluating third-party market data to generate a deeper understanding of customer/market needs
Manage several key vendors, including a primary advertising agency
Establish a strong partnership with the sales team and other field-based teams, to ensure optimal execution; partner with Sales Training to develop a comprehensive and effective training plan
Serve as the marketing point-person on cross-functional teams, including the Promotional Material Review Committee (PMRC)
Collaborate with Access team members in developing and communicating key aspects of the product's value proposition and other attributes to key stakeholders
Ensures compliance with company and regulatory policies and requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
6+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with significant in-line marketing experience
3+ years of oncology experience required
Launch experience required
Experience with companion diagnostics preferred
Sales/field experience preferred
