The Field Service and Sales Coordinator is responsible for understanding and disseminating the clinical laboratory services provided through the University of Illinois Outreach Laboratory with an emphasis on new business development and maintaining current business. Develop solid relationships with decision makers while advancing sales process with potential new clients. Develop knowledge of competitors in your geographical territory for factual comparison as required. Maintain the highest possible standard of operation through the strict adherence of all ethical, compliance and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Utilize sales skills using territory industry knowledge.
Establish, maintain, and enhance both supportive and productive client relations with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Enhance knowledge of the testing menu, laboratory offerings and medical specialties and services offered by the University of Illinois Outreach Laboratory.
Secure client business for new sales opportunities while prioritizing daily activity to maximize account closing potential. Research potential clients and account development using market resources, territory prospecting and referrals.
Learn and maintain maximum knowledge of healthcare industry within the assigned geographical territory. Maintaining a current book of business and grow these accounts by selling additional testing and securing all lab business in each account.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Marketing or bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory sciences or related fields.
Valid driver's license with acceptable record required.

Preferred Qualifications
Clinical laboratory and/or laboratory sales and marketing experience preferred.
Three or more years of successful sales experience with a proven top sales performance history required.
This position will include 12 month inside sales support training working with Operations staff, Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Coordinator and customers prior to moving into field.
