Description
This person will be responsible for implementing correct measuring processes with suppliers and internal personnel. They will also work on Iso standards and update systems and processes.
Overview: Promote the company’s continual effort for improvement through overseeing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements, as well as assisting with other quality assurance support activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Maintain master list of document review, approvals, and releases
• Perform document review/edit/release/obsoletion activities
• Collect and prepare documentation involved in ISO management review
• Maintain/distribute new revisions of external standards (e.g. ANSI, ASTM, ISO/IEC, etc.)
• Assist with determining the requirements for – and purchasing – measurement devices based on their intended use
• Perform measurement activities using advanced measurement equipment
• Stay informed of the latest measurement methods and technology
• Train employees in the use of measurement devices
• Maintain calibration and metrology labs
• Other projects and duties determined necessary to support Quality Assurance initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of college level course work, technical classes, and related work experience
• Ability to function in a teamwork oriented environment and have a collaborative work style
• Working knowledge with Microsoft Office suite
Measurement tools expertise
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
• Ability to interpret/compose language written in a technical style
• Ability to provide training to others and work with people at all levels of the organization
