This Paralegal/Analyst position is best suited to candidates who possess the ability to think critically while providing research and administrative support. Robert Half might have an immediate position for you, if you are a Paralegal with passion for the legal field. Based in the Downers Grove, Illinois area, this position is a permanent role. You will succeed in this position if you are motivated, and exercise focus, good computer skills, and organizational qualities. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Responsible for maintaining, updating, and organizing entity records, including creating/updating user guides and managing user access with respect to the database.
+ Collaborates with Legal Department personnel and colleagues in other functional areas and external parties to support legal entity formation, merger or dissolution processes and other entity support.
+ Prepares, maintains and/or reviews relevant regulatory filings.
+ Manages domestic delegations of authority.
+ Assists in drafting resolutions for domestic entities, incumbency certificates, and related documentation for Company Legal, Treasury and Tax Departments.
+ Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope.
+ Report and escalate to management as needed.
+ Performs other project duties as required.
RequirementsRequirements for this position include:
+ Minimum of 5+ years of experience in corporate law.
+ Bachelor’s Degree required.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to work discreetly with confidential and sensitive information and materials.
+ Organized and efficient with excellent attention to detail.
+ Self-starter with ability to problem solve proactively.
+ Demonstrated expertise with corporate governance database and with MS Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
